How to make a claim

For medical emergencies

If you're abroad and have an emergency or need medical treatment, please call the relevant emergency medical assistance helpline below.

  • If you are anywhere except USA, Canada or Mexico - call +44 (0)1403 289 148. Lines open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • If you are in the USA or Canada - call + 1 844 780 0663. Lines open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • If you are in Mexico or calling from a UK mobile phone while in USA or Canada - call + 1 819 780 0662. Lines open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For all other claims

If you need to make a claim you should contact your Travel Agent, Tour Operator, airline, accommodation, or credit card provider for a refund in the first instance.

Alternatively, you can call our claims team on 01403 289 151. To assist with the claim, please have your policy reference number to hand. Please note we are currently experiencing a very high level of claims owing to Covid-19 and the Coronavirus, there may be longer than usual call waiting times.
